Five Minute WalkFind pictures to be taken
In the Five Minute Walk project, we were challenged to go on a five minute walk and take as many interesting photos as we could. I took the photos at my parents' shop. I think that I provided a decent product and was surprised with my creativity in some of these. I did a little touchup in Lightroom but not a ton of editing overall. |
Instagram PasticheInspiration from Instagram
We found inspiration on Instagram from a photographer of our choice and were supposed to take a photo using that as inspiration. I chose Matti Haapoja, a photographer who I have watched for a while. The photo I took was of my brother by Spofford Pond School. |
Food PhotographyBagels
I took my picture of some bagels in my house on a cutting board. I really like how I added the bread knife on the side. I think it adds a bit more to the photo than just having bagels. The light over my counter top reflected on the top of the photo, but I don't think it takes away anything from the image. |
Self-AssignmentA Creative Assignment of Choice
I found some inspiration online of something similar and tried to recreate it. I shot this on a white background with a stick holding up the shoe. I used string to hold up the laces in the air. Afterwards in Photoshop, I took out the string and the stick and darkened up the background and added a dramatic vignette. |
PanographMany Pictures to Create One Image
This project was created by taking many images, zoomed into the subject. Each rectangle is a different image and they were all strung together in Photoshop to assemble the full image. We used solely the transform functions in Photoshop to combine all the photos. |
Object ReplacementPutting an Object in an Image
For our final project, we were tasked with taking a photo of an object of our choice and then inserting it in an image. I took the photo, masked my object out in Photoshop, and then put it in the image of the sidewalk. The shadow was created by copying my object and turning down the brightness. |
